Hi, I’m Akash Ojha, the traveller and blogger behind We Are Tourist.
I’m a part-time blogger, a curious traveller, a big-time foodie, and someone who loves discovering what makes each place special. From the streets of Asia to the beautiful destinations of Europe, I’ve had the opportunity to travel across 12+ countries, meet people from different backgrounds, experience new cultures, and collect countless memories along the way.
For me, travelling is about much more than visiting famous landmarks or ticking destinations off a list. It’s about getting a feel for a place, trying its local food, understanding its culture, exploring hidden corners, and enjoying the little moments that make every journey memorable.

We Believe Everyone Is a Tourist

I believe every one of us is a tourist.
Think about it. We are constantly travelling through life, discovering new places, meeting new people, exploring different cultures, starting new careers, building relationships, and stepping into experiences we’ve never had before.
Sometimes, our journeys take us across oceans and continents. Other times, they take us into completely new chapters of life. A new city, a new job, a new friendship, or even a new version of ourselves.
Every new experience gives us something to discover and a new story to tell.
That’s the idea behind We Are Tourist. I believe life itself is a journey, and we’re all exploring it in our own ways.
